How BananaPad Works

IN 4 STEPS

Step 1:

WRITE IT DOWN: Write your tasks onto the task strips (200 included). We like to include any deadlines down the side too.

Get everything out of your head and onto movable task strips. Work. Home. Life admin. Personal goals. All those things you're trying not to forget.

Clear your head. See your workload.

Step 2

PRIORITISE FOR THIS WEEK: Stick tasks into the appropriate zones for the current week.

Decide what matters now, what would be good for you, what someone else can do, and what can wait.

You can't do everything.

THE FOUR TASK ZONES

EAT NOW

Important tasks that MUST be completed this week (deadline is this week).

GIVE AWAY

Things that are more important to others than yourself. Aim to delegate these to give you more free time to focus on what you need to EAT NOW or things that are GOOD TO EAT.

GOOD TO EAT

Important tasks which don't have a deadline this week (or ever) and that you'd like to make progress on this week (e.g. personal growth or wellbeing).

FRUIT BOWL

Tasks that DO NOT NEED to be done this week, and are not important for you to progress/complete this week.

Step 3:

MOVE IT WHEN PLANS MOVE: Add, move and remove tasks as your week progresses or your plans and priorities change.

Because life rarely goes to plan, and priorities can quickly change. Instead of crossing things out and starting again, simply move the task to where it belongs now.

Plans move. So should your planner.

Step 4

RESET & REFLECT: At the end of each week, review and question unfinished tasks, pick out FRUIT BOWL tasks that are now ready, and reprioritise for the new week.

Physically moving your tasks helps you decide what still matters, what needs changing, what can wait, and what you can let go of.

Reflect on this week. Reprioritise the next.
