The productivity planner that helps you stop overcommitting.

BananaPad™ is an A5 weekly productivity planner and task management system designed to help you prioritise what matters, manage your workload and actually get things done.

Unlike a traditional to-do list planner, BananaPad uses movable task strips and a limited number of spaces to help you see your workload and decide what you can realistically take on each week. When priorities change, simply move your tasks — no rewriting your entire plan.

It combines ideas from Eisenhower Matrix prioritisation, Kanban visual task management and Lean thinking to create a simple, hands-on paper planning system for work and everyday life.

Why BananaPad is different

Plan less. Finish more.

Most of us don't have a planning problem — we have an overcommitting problem. BananaPad helps you get every task out of your head, decide what deserves your attention now and keep everything else visible without committing to it this week.

The physical task strips make your workload visible and easy to change, while the weekly capacity limit encourages more realistic planning and better prioritisation.

It's a screen-free productivity tool for anyone who wants to manage tasks, reduce overwhelm and stay focused on what matters.

How BananaPad works

1. Capture everything
Write your tasks on the movable strips, including things you don't need to do this week.

2. Prioritise your week
Choose what realistically fits into your available weekly spaces.

3. Move with real life
When priorities change, physically move your task strips. Bring tasks forward, defer them, delegate them or return them to the Fruit Bowl.

4. Reflect and reset
Review what you achieved and what didn't get done, then use what you've learned to plan the week ahead.

A productivity planner for work and everyday life

BananaPad can be used as a work planner, weekly planner, task planner, study planner or personal productivity planner. It's designed for busy professionals, managers, parents, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who regularly feels they have too much to do.

Whether you're managing projects, household tasks, personal goals or a busy working week, BananaPad helps you capture everything without committing to everything.

Created by people who understand productivity

BananaPad™ was created by two professionals with backgrounds spanning engineering, manufacturing, Lean improvement, data analytics and project delivery.

We created BananaPad after experiencing the same problem ourselves: traditional to-do lists made it easy to keep adding tasks, but much harder to decide what we could realistically achieve. We combined principles we'd used professionally with our own approach to create a practical paper-based productivity system for everyday life.

I love my Banana Pad. It helps me get organised and it is a great visual way of seeing my tasks ahead without feeling overwhelmed.
I would highly recommend it for someone with a busy lifestyle who also wants to rely a bit less in technology and have a more hands-on approach to planning and organising. A wonderful creation!

I've so far found it a fun and effective way to track and manage tasks and record my thoughts. I can see myself sticking with it, in contrast to other electronic methods which I've generally abandoned in favour of blank sheets of paper which is also not ideal. Being able to move incomplete tasks from one week to the next is a great idea.
